We are looking for a Hardware and Storage Engineer with experience in big Data Centres. We are looking for a professional to work for a European Public Agency within a dynamic environment that promotes professional growth. Availability to travel for short periods of time is desired and fluent English is a must.
•HP Hardware (servers, blades and components)
•Hardware Configuration and maintenance
•Storage configuration and maintenance(HP 3par)
•SAN switching configuration (BROCADE)
•Server Hardware Troubleshooting experience.
•Network Hardware: Copper and Optical Fiber Cabling, Switches, Routers.
•Some Experience with Network Protocols: TCP/IP, Ethernet….
•Cabling, Labeling and naming.
•Data Centre Operations: Inventory Management, Hot/Cold Aisles, Security
Other desired skills:
•Knowledge in Cisco Technologies
•Knowledge in Vmware Technologies
•Project Management understanding (PMP, Prince2)
•Team working ability, communication and reporting skills.
