everis is looking for an On-site Operations Technician, responsible for the executing of IP telephony operations, IP television distribution operations, cabling operations, and videoconference operations tasks and activities.

Your main functions will be:

  • Day-to-day management and completion of the tasks, ensuring efficient and timely execution
  • Ensure the quality in deliverables and SLA compliance
  • Report to On-site Ops Leader and provide inputs on the SLAs measures
  • Provide process feedback to the SD team (example quality of encoding of the ticket based on what has been observed during its processing)
  • May also act as part of the team, for example taking highly critical activities in charge
  • To handle all cabling and optical fibre operations
  • To repair, modify the existing cabling components
  • To maintain the cabling management database in the Archibus tool
  • To perform regular Move Add and Change (MAC), small scale moves in very short term period, mass moves and deployment (in Ad Hoc Services only)
  • To provide necessary information to Service Desk for CMDB updates
  • To support the videoconference systems usage
  • To assist and support all installed base in Videoconference
  • To support all IP TV Distribution activities
  • To handle the PE inventory and spare stock for the all telephony, videoconference systems items and cabling components
  • To create and update the technical documentations


  • 5+ years of involvement in operating in an Subject Matter Expert area between IP telephony operations, IP television distribution operations, cabling operations, and videoconference operations
  • 5+ years of experience working in a wider telecoms environment
  • Experience in ITIL methodologies
  • Experience in working in complex organizations over various locations and various stakeholders
  • Experience in working with teams up to 15 persons
  • Location of work – Strasbourg, France
  • Time schedule:
    • Working hours – 8.30AM to 6PM
    • Flexibility – able to coordinate with Team Leader in order to cover night shifts, and vacation periods of other team members
  • Travelling – if required, open to travelling to Luxemburg / Brussels, up to 30% of the time
  • Languages – Official working language will be English, and as an addition French is highly desired
