We are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our fast-growing team in Amsterdam, office in the International Organizations sector, with the following characteristics:

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Project Manager and Business stakeholders to understand Business drivers and scope of the projects.
  • Support and facilitate workshops across various functions in Business and Technology to elicit business requirements and re-define processes
  • Write detailed user stories and use cases aligned with an Agile / sprint-based development methodology
  • Documenting “as-is” and “to-be” business processes
  • Obtain formal sign-off of business requirements from all key stakeholders and ensure traceability throughout the development cycle as requirements evolve
  • Work actively and closely with software development teams to ensure user requirements are clearly understood and developed as specified in the documentation.
  • Perform estimation for analysis deliverables; ensuring timelines are realistic and achievable.
  • Provide regular status reporting to stakeholders including status against milestones, and transparency of risks/ issues.
  • Provide solutions for system design, implementation, and improvements for function and workflows.
  • Engage with business stakeholders understanding their needs and effectively communicate how those will be designed and eventually implemented.


Must have:

  • Desire to work in a diverse, international setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, International Relations, or IT-related fields.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a large complex organisation.
  • Extensive experience across all stages of the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborative attitude and experience working remotely in multicultural teams across different countries.
  • Excellent level of English.
  • Good communication skills (oral & writing).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability and flexibility to adjust to a fast-changing and demanding environment.

Nice to have:

  • Master’s degree in Management, International Relations, or IT-related fields.
  • Experience in Healthcare Sector, Public Sector, or other highly-regulated industries.
  • Experience in data-related projects.
  • Background in international organizations.
  • Open to travel where needed (Europe).
